Video Downloaders

VIDEO DOWNLOADER DIRECTORY

Find the right video downloader for a supported public link from TikTok, Instagram, Facebook or Pinterest. Each tool checks available media from its particular source. File types and download quality depend on the original media and the options available when you submit the link.

How to choose the correct tool

Start with the original platform, not the file extension you hope to receive. A TikTok link belongs in the TikTok downloader, while a Pinterest video Pin belongs in the Pinterest tool. Copy the direct link using the source platform’s sharing option, paste it into the corresponding tool and review the result before downloading.

If a link is not supported, check that it points to a public video rather than a profile, playlist, image, unavailable post or restricted item. A public page does not automatically grant permission to reproduce or republish the video.

Understanding MP4 quality and availability

MP4 describes a media container, not a guaranteed resolution or codec. A video can be compressed when it is uploaded, and the social platform may expose only certain versions of that upload. Re-downloading a video cannot restore detail lost in earlier compression. Availability of HD options can also change as source platforms update their delivery systems.

When comparing downloaded files, inspect their actual dimensions, codec, audio track and playback compatibility. The guide MP4 vs MKV vs AVI explains how containers differ, while our video compression guide explains common codecs.

Need audio instead of the complete video?

Use the Video to MP3 Converter directory to choose a platform-specific audio tool. Audio is not available from every video; some source clips are silent or have restricted soundtracks.

Frequently asked questions

Will every video download in HD?

No. Available resolution depends on the source upload and the file options provided by the platform.

Can I download a private video?

Do not expect these tools to bypass privacy, authentication or access restrictions. Use only media you are allowed to access and save.

Why is an MP4 not opening on my device?

The device may not support the file’s codec, the transfer might be incomplete, or the original stream may be unavailable. Compare file properties before converting it again.
